International Students at Sancta Maria
Sancta Maria has a long tradition of welcoming students from beyond India. Our Faridabad campus, which has served families across the Delhi-NCR region for many years, has received students from across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Russia, and beyond. Our newest campus at Aerocity, Hyderabad, is designed from the outset as a genuinely international residential school, with boarding provision, global curriculum, and a community drawn from multiple countries and contexts.
Former students tell the story most powerfully. Tanishka, who moved to India from another country, describes her time at Sancta Maria as her most treasured schooling experience, one in which moving from a different school and a different country was made manageable by the warmth and genuineness of the Sancta Maria community. Both the IB and Cambridge frameworks explicitly address international-mindedness, the capacity to appreciate one's own culture while engaging with the perspectives of others. Global Connections: The Co-curricular Dimension
International exposure at Sancta Maria extends well beyond the curriculum. The co-curricular programme at our Aerocity campus includes a dedicated Global Connections strand, featuring:

- Virtual Collaboration with Global Partners: Joint projects and dialogue with students in other countries
- Seasonal Camps and Experiential Learning Programmes: Immersive experiences beyond the classroom

Junior Model United Nations (JMUN)
Sancta Maria's Junior Model United Nations programme gives students the opportunity to engage with global issues through the framework of international diplomacy. Students research, debate, and negotiate as delegates representing countries other than their own, developing skills of research, rhetoric, empathy, and compromise in a context that mirrors the real structures of global governance.
JMUN participation is a particularly powerful experience for students who are themselves from multiple national backgrounds, and it has become one of the most valued programmes in the Sancta Maria co-curricular offer.
A Network That Spans the World
Sancta Maria is part of the Be More Group that includes St Mary’s College, one of India's most respected educational institutions, which is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. Across Sancta Maria and Nova Maria Schools, St. Mary's Junior Colleges, St. Mary's College, and Schola Maria, the network provides a depth of institutional experience and a community of alumni that reaches into every professional field and every corner of the world. The Group will soon be gearing up for its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
